This blog will now be used for the DirtKing to express his views on the latest happenings in the coaching world. From opinions on jobs, to the latest rumors, all of the DirtKing's rants can be found here.
Our live website has the following.
A news section that will feature the latest hirings and firings with links to any relevant articles. We will also provide information on other coaching news - from milestones to suspensions - we'll have it all!
The jobs section is pretty obvious - we will add some info about the job - and a link to the actual advertisement.
Because we think professional development opportunities (such as clinics) are a great way to network and move up in the business, we will keep this section updated with the latest clinics from around the country. If you are running one, feel free to pass it along - we will definitely post it.
Also in development is our forum. This will be a place for our readers to discuss the latest topics in the business.
We will have our links page up shortly as well.
Lastly, as fellow coaches, we know that not everyone makes "Rick Pitino" money in this business. One of our goals is to keep HoopDirt running as a free site - we don't want to charge for our info. With that in mind, please feel free to click on an ad or two every once in a while so we can afford to keep doing this!
